Description

Our ADR (Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road) training course provides drivers with the knowledge and certification required to transport hazardous goods safely and legally.

This course is suitable for both new candidates looking to gain their ADR qualification and existing ADR licence holders needing to complete refresher training before their certificate expires.

ADR certification is valid for five years. To remain legally authorised to transport dangerous goods, drivers must complete refresher training and pass the required exams.

The course is fully compliant with UK regulations and approved by the Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA), ensuring you meet all legal requirements for the safe carriage of dangerous goods.

Failure to renew your ADR certification before expiry will mean you are no longer legally permitted to transport dangerous goods until requalification is completed.

Prerequisites

To enrol on this course, delegates must:


• Be at least 18 years old

• Hold a valid form of photographic ID (e.g. passport or driving licence)

• Hold the appropriate driving licence:

o Cat B (for vans carrying dangerous goods)

o LGV (C1, C or C+E) for larger vehicles

• Have a good understanding of written and spoken English

This course is suitable for both experienced drivers and those new to ADR, depending on licence type and career goals.

• Can contribute up to 28 hours towards Driver CPC (additional fee may apply)

• Training time counts as duty time under Driver Hours regulations
